Update: VEHICLE IS SOLD and GONE!

http://www.seatstaysup.com/forums/misc/67Camaro/67camaro07.jpg

I'm pricing this one to sell since I have my eye on another vehicle to purchase. The car is located here in Houston, TX. I've owned it since March of this year. I had bigger plans for it, but need the garage space for a new toy.

Asking $28K

This car has zero rust, it was fully restored a few years ago by a father/son team. I have found no evidence of bondo on the car. The paint is very nice, only has a couple tiny flaws that would be easy to fix. The paint is 7 yrs old and looks great, obviously well taken care of. It was painted the correct way, with the body disassembled and then reassembled after painting. The underside and trunk of the car are super clean, as well as the engine bay. The front subframe is clean and painted also.

Here are the details:

1967 Camaro
~3K miles since restored (completely nut and bolt restored)
6-speed T56 transmission w/ Viper internals
Centerforce clutch (hydraulic clutch conversion)
Hurst shifter
350ci SBC engine w/ aluminum heads and intake, Holley carb, billet MSD distributor and ignition box. Electric fuel pump w/ sumped factory tank. Engine has 6-rib serpentine belt conversion installed. I was told the car puts down around 300 rwhp, but I have never dynoed it myself. It runs very good and sounds great.
Flowmaster exhaust and longtube headers
Bilstein shocks front/rear
CPP front/rear disk brake system w/ drilled/slotted rotors.
10-bolt rearend with 3.73 gears
Global West tubular subframe connectors
AGR billet quick-ratio steering box (power)
Hotchkis swaybars
Covan's dash with Autometer gauges
Corbeau CR-1 racing seats (fully adjustable, with wide style bolsters)
Factory front seats are also included, I have them in storage.
Grant steering wheel
Sony MP3/CD player w/ Sherwood amplifier
iForged 18x8 and 18x10 "Astra" wheels w/ new Nitto tires, brushed centers.
The car does not have A/C, but it does have a brand new A/C compressor that is part of the serpentine belt system. You would just need the condenser and under dash box to finish the A/C system.

This car drives perfectly straight, has a very nice ride quality, tight steering. It does not feel like the typical old car, even my wife drives it. The brakes work excellent, and the 6-speed is great on the highway. It isn't a rattle trap either, the car is very tight and nicely put together. Easily the best driving old car I've owned.

I looked at over thirty 67-69 Camaros before finding this one, you will not find a cleaner car with these nice parts for less.

PM me if you would like to call me and chat. Otherwise, my email address is Tony @ LS1TECH.com

Thanks,
Tony

Steve nailed it, I simply do not have enough garage space and the storage rental place down the road (I have three car units) is filled with a 6-month waiting list.

Nice chatting with each of you guys. Frank (4MuscleMachines) has first dibs on the car at asking price, I will keep you informed.

I'll be glad to see it go to another forum member, that way I can get updates on the progress of it :)

I would normally say blue with white stripes; I had one on order in 96 when they first came out, but backed out.

But the white with blue stripes is a very clean look and more unique in my opinion.

Hard to believe that all the searching has come to an end. I was lucky to have a lot of good people helping me find the right car. Mainly Antony and Tyler. You guys have been awesome!

Anthony has been a friend since the day I signed up on lateral-g and we have been searching for the right car ever since. Buddy that phone call was one of the best I've ever recived! I can't thank you enough for all your assistance in finding this car. It's going to be a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to your visit during sema and enjoying the car with us!

Tony, I can't wait for the car to arrive. Thanks for helping make my Christmas come early this year! :D

As for the Viper, I'd prefer the white one as it looks different but I'd minus that ricer wing

agreed, that wing is horrible! These two are just examples, not the actual cars I'm looking at. The blue one that has the "VIPER" decal on the windshield also makes me chuckle. I mean really, who DOESN'T know that is a Viper?

haha

Nice choice Tony, I've always loved Vipers! Man both colors do it for me...that's going to be a tuff choice! Probably white...just to be a little differant.

How's the 69 Camaro coming along?

Get the white one, it is more rare and over time with retain the most value. That is if you can live the with blue interior accents.

Drives and sounds awesome! All the way around this is a great car! Posted a few pictures The wife to be took when we got it in the garage. I'll clean it up tomorrow and take a few more. Curtis, it has been a pleasure to work with you. I'm betting the Camaro likes your garage better, the place is nice and shiny and he doesn't have to share his room with big brother ('70 Chevelle).

No I didn't sleep in the garage. The car is awesome but I'd rather curl up with :hail: L any night! I did however get up super early. We drove the back roads down to Starbucks (no plate) and just kicked for a few. I think I'm going to need a no finger prints sign. The car gets crazy attention and I'm actually a bit concerned that some one who's staring will gravitate right into it. :willy:

Tony L wants to know how we can make it not as loud or as stinky. She's concerned about the neighbors. I told her that was the only reason I bought it.

Ever walk out your front door and find the Fed Ex guy walking around your car. I thought that was kind of odd as those guys don't usually stick around long enough for the door bell to stop ringing. It suddenly dawned on me that he had a package in his hand and that it contained the title to the car! :_paranoid

Good thing the wife to be is Metro P.D. :unibrow:

Tell her that old cars are always stinky, just like old men.

You can quieten it up a bit and reduce the exhaust smell by installing a pair of high flow catalytics near the headers. Probably won't lose more than 6-8 hp with a good set of cats.
