The October '07 Feature is Payton King's 69 Camaro. It's great to be able to do so, we've all watched it come together. It's a fantastic car and Payton didn't cut any corners. We will be updating Payton's page with video soon.

Congrats on finishing the build of such a fantastic car, Payton.

Payton:

That's a terrific car. I hope I can get mine up to that kind of shape someday.

Well Done.

Congrats! I really like the fender wells. I also enjoyed the story. And I also plan to map out my next project better...but until then I will just keep changing things on the current car.

Way to go Payton, Excellent choice Scott for this months feature. The car is turning out to be very stunning. Can't wait to finally see it finished even though I know they never are.

Sorry to have used old photos but we will be updating very soon. My car was suppose to take 2 weeks max for the interior...we are now working on 5 weeks. This has been the untold story of this construction. Everyone tells me one time frame and it is something completely different.

When Scott asked me to be the feature I guessed that my car would have been back weeks ago. Now, and keep you fingers crossed, I am suppose to pick it up this Thursday. I will take some updated high res shots and I am going to try and get video of it on the dyno and some drive time.

Very nice car Payton. Yellow is one of those colors you either hit or miss and your hits its.

Since I have been building this car for 6 years I had time to pick the right one. Every car show I went to and saw a yellow I loved I asked what color it was. Without exception it was always Viper Yellow. A white sealer was shot on the car before the color was laid down. It really made it pop.

I used a Street and Performance low a/c mount for a Fbody. As you can see the compressor is out far enough that it runs on the main belt.
