Well...finally got all my pieces back from the powder coater. All the bumpers, grille surround, all bezels inside and out were coated a Bright Silver with a clear coat. Nice contrast with the Titanium Metallic (Porsche Grayish Color). Still working on the interior but the end is in sight!

hmmm i am very ambivalent about that car,,, i love the stance, color and wheels.. but the morrors remind me of how some people over here (in europe) desecrate US musclecars by bolting dollar a dozen junkyard crap on their cars instead of buying original stuff... ive spent alot of money on my mustang undoing the very look you are shooting for... :D
with that said i must admit it does look good and you have pulled thg euro look off to perfection, so points for daring to be different

Car looks great  . Have to agree with Deuce_454 though, the mirrors seem out of place.

I appreciate your comments because that what makes the "sport" of customizing cars so much fun....there are no bounderies. Just to give you my point of view...the goal with this car is that I use to live in Southern Calif. and I would go to the larger car shows and there would usually be over a 100 "Shoeboxes" most with two-tone paint and they all looked great but they all started looking similar to me. Don't get me wrong, I love the look because I had a least four of them in my younger days (Wish I had keep that Big Block Nomad). I just wanted a little different look because I've been into BMW and Porsches for the last 20 years so why not take the best of both worlds! Anyway the mirrors are off of a 87 Porsche 911 and they are electric and functional (great for parallel parking so you don't hit the curb with the expensive rims). Plus they are kinda square (Like the Shoebox) and fit very nicely into my "Euro" theme of the car. Most important of all....I like them and in the end that what counts the most!

IMHO they work, but I think that the mirrors off a BMW E-46 sedan (1999-2005) would be a better choice, they are really square, and they have blue tinted glass that would really fit good. I would just leave it, it looks killer.

Most definitely  . I ment no offence, they are just larger than I would personally prefer. I did not mean to imply that your car looked bad in any way (It looks very good  ).
