Wait, what happened to the original chevelle from hell? The 1966 chevelle Hotrodstohell was building with the all aluminum donovan, factory fiberglass doors, custom chassis etc.?

The '66 you describe sounds killer, but these two cars aren't related. I don't think the owner's wife of this '70 intended to steal the name, probably just wanted to express how it felt to go through the build process. Judging from the looks of it, the tribulation was worth it.

Cheers! ~Patrick Krook

No problem, I just assumed they were both built by hotrodstohell. Didn't mean to imply the name was stolen. Either way its a nice car and good luck with the sale.

Mike probably tried to sell it last year on his own, before bringing it to me. I think the car is buy at $110k, let alone the current asking price. :woot:

The car that inspired my sickness. Truly an icon.

I actually took a specific trip down to Cali just to see Mike and that car, I think last year. Got a ride and I think he had to change the seat I was in after staining it during the ride. Mike is one fearless driver. The engine has such fast throttle response that it sounds like an F1 car. Just amazing. It would be a shame to change anything on this car especially the wheels and that color. In person its amazing! Wish I had the cash.

Cool! Here again I wish I had loads of cash. I'd love to have this for "just a track car" to go run in things like auto-x and optima challenges and stuff like that. I wonder how it would do on a road course. Looks great! Is is streetable, or does it sound like a Nascar?
