Hello:
I'm looking to buy Two 17 inch wheels (Cheap if possible) that will run on a standard front 1969 Camaro subframe.
Offset needs to be standard for the car, will need to clear 13 inch wilwood brakes and calipers.
What to run tall ATS Spindles.
17X7 or 17X8 probably I don't mind a larger tire, but I don't want any rubbing!!
If you happen to have a couple Kenisis K17's in the right size, I'd REALLY be interested. I'd buy new but this is just a temporary set up.
Thanks,
Ty O'Neal
BTW: Could someone tell me what the correct offset would be for this application?
Thanks!

I have some 17x7 with 4" backspace for sale, with 235/45 TA ZR's. I'd prefer to sell the whole set: rears are 17x9.5, 6.25" backspace with 285/40's.
Wheels alone: $700 for all 4, $1k with tires. Let me know.

Thanks a million for the post.
Can you tell me the bran and style please?
I'm going to send up a quick inquiry about what would fit my car correctly. I want to avoid any more rubbing.
Thanks,
Ty

Ty, to determine the proper offset of various width wheels for the front of a stock track width Camaro, simply deduct 3 to 3.25 inches from the over all width. So for example if it is a 8" wheel, look for a 4.75 to 5 inch back space. 8.5 inch width, look for 5.25 to 5.5.
If the wheel is as small as a 7", you can have even more back space as you will have no danger of running on the inside, but the wheels will appear to sucked in from the outside at the fender edge.
I have these?
17" Centerline Scorpion Wheels & BFG KD ZR Tires
4 - Centerline Scorpion Wheels
2 - 17X7'S Front
2 - 17X8'S Rear
4 -BFG KD ZR Tires
2- 225/45 front
2- 255/45 Rear
Wheels & Tires are in Excellent condition, somewhere between 5K-6K miles, nice tucked fit for 69-7?'s Nova's/Ventura's/Camaros
$1250.00 pick up in Orange County,Ca. or can ship, add shipping charges.

Thank you very much for for responding.
I am getting the Backspace sorted out for this application.
I currently have ALCON 6 Pot Calipers in front with 13 inch disk, with Custom Spindles.
I have to decide whether to stay with what I have (and figure out if the Alcon calipers will cause any issues with a regular 17 inch wheels, or whether to go ahead and change to the Wilwood Superlites with the ATS spindles.
Since I definitely will be putting on a front subframe in the somewhat near future, I don't want to have a lot of money tied up in wheels that I will be changing out to 18 inches shortly. (<24 months)
I will get this decided directly. I can always have the K17's resized that I have on the front, however like any 3-piece wheels, nothing is cheap.
As I said before a bit more time will give me definite direction.
Thanks again for your timely responses and I will write again soon regarding this.
Best Regards,
Ty O'Neal

Hey Ty, sorry for the lag.
The fronts will bolt-up, no problem, but the rears are on a wider rearend. You couldn't even get the lugs through on a stock rear.
But, they are Boyd Turbo-Tech. Here's a pic on the car:
