Just got to mocking up my new 321 stainless LSX headers from Tom Nelson at http://www.nelsonracingengines.com/. He did a fantastic job, quality is amazing. These clear the early muscle cars and you have the option of locating your turbos where you'd like them as he makes the band clamped extension for the turbo mounting as required. They clear the Synister front drive I'm running, but can be located where you want to clear other arrangements. They also have been changed to clear the taller aftermarket valve covers that many want to run, in my case the beautiful carbon fiber units from John at http://www.carbonfibervalvecovers.com
I especially like how Tom got them low in the chassis which is going to allow the downpipes to run under the header and give tons of hood clearance, as well as keep the weight and heat lower in the engine compartment.

Those are T67/76 Precision ball-bearing turbos. Should support a lot more than I plan on making, and they swear they'll spool quickly on a 400 inch motor.

So, Jody, you basically had Mark mini-tub the car for you? I mean, are you keeping the interior the same at all too? I really can't wait to see the car done. It's gonna be badass.

Cool, Jody. I can't wait to see it. Oh, and you should trailer that badass motor to the Goodies show. Paul would wet himself looking at it. And then many of the other people out there wouldn't know what the hell it is.....
That's absolutely beautiful, Jody. :hail:
The attention to detail is incredible, no wonder it's taking so long to finish, LOL. I can't wait to see the car.

This is like art , i havent seen this kind of header work ever. Can someone tell me does stainless V-bands work in a standard exhaust system ? I liked have my mufflers with V bands , that way i could easily change different mufflers if needed.
