Who's attending Open track events in CA

I just got my Torino on the road and I'm doing some basic chassis tuning. I want to take it out to WIllow Springs or Fontana to shake her down and establish a baseline for performance.

Has anyone here gone to any of the open track events that some of the clubs sponsor? Help guide a newbie twords some track time in SoCal. Thanks.

I went to buttonwillow last friday for a HOTT day session. They are pretty simple, just run what ya brung.

We are running again in 2 weeks out there if you want to join us.
