Anyone using one? I have a C4/hydroboost setup and am interested in experiences/thoughts/recommendations. Thanks!

AC Delco, PF883. Runs about $12.00 and all you have to do is run it in the return line for about a day..... and will have done all its work.

Good info on the Delco piece, and good price!

Another option, if you want one to stay permanently installed, have AN fitting provisions, and look decent at the same time, try Lee Manufacturing-- they have a nice aluminum one with a replaceable element. I run one with my Hydroboost setup on the return line from the box to the reservoir.

Lee's number is 818-768-0371, they're in Sun Valley, CA.

Yup.... the ACD filter idea came from Tom. I got that from him years ago when we used to constantly replace the R&P units in the Corvette's during the 'World Challenge Series' back in the early 90's. After doing an initial run in with the filter (with the new R&P units) most of all problems went away and we cut R&P replacement by two thirds..... that was also when we discovered how good the RedLine PS fluid really was, and how important it was to properly cool the steering system.

His explaination for any PS filter, was that upon installation it does all of its work within the first two hours of operation. After that time frame, a filter and its pressure restriction really isnt necessary. I dig the AN filter though..... it makes any fluid maint. a snap.
