Ignition system of choice ?

Would you use MSD or Pertronix for coil, dist and ignition box ?

My engine builder prefers Mallory, :cool:

The only thing about it is I dislike the red, I prefer black and polished plastics and metals.

I had a Mallory UNIlite distributor that was total crap out of the box, so I have a bad taste in my mouth with them :)

I've always used MSD... Put the box under the dash and you won't have to worry about color...

im with dawg i have run a msd box coil wires and dizzy on my truck for 4 years now. theres alot of great brands out there. im sticking with msd since it works great for me.

I've been using a Jacobs Pro coil/computer with Pertronix, working fine for 5 years now. Although the Jacobs stuff is blue (all their new gear is silver now I think).

Sounds like a mild build. Simple HEI would work just fine.
