What they fail to tell us is that it weighs 10,000LBS! All these stereo DEMO cars are HEAVY! Made usually with mass quantities of MDF, bendy wood and bondo. Combine that will all the electronics.............
These things rarely drive. In fact I saw one with a steering wheel port hiden in the rear body panel, that they put a long shaft and wheel in and walked it around.
But what I wonder is where they got tires for 26 X 13 rims?

LOL! I went and looked at the build pics in the link posted above after posting, as suspected, a forest of MDF. I failed to mention the panty hose and fiberglass resign!

I think that when you look at this car you should keep in mind that this car i build for primarily the CES to display Alpine. It is build to show state-of-the-art electronics. Tha car it self is more or less build to draw the attention towards the installation. Therefore many of you may not see it as an beautiful car, but whether you like the design or not it is very well build and and very very high tech. I agree with you that this may not be the most beautiful car but for the purpose it is build for it is really outstanding!

Yeah, I think it took a ton of effort and a ton of skill airbrushing it, installing all the electronics, and is a very high impact piece. To be honest, I kind of hate not liking something that people with a lot of talent have spent an incredible amount of time on, but I just am not impressed with these cars at all. I see over the top cars at shows all the time with more TV's than a high rise condo building and that kind of style with no substance just doesn't move me. I love that there's tons of talent and hardwork in that car, but just don't like the design or purpose at all
