I'm about to install the DSE mintubs and need some information. I have a '68 Camaro and want to set up the rear suspension with non-staggered shocks simply because I don't like the way the DSE shock crossmember looks in the staggered application. Is there an advantage to staggered shocks over non-staggered? I've heard that the staggered shocks help with wheel hop. Any thoughts?

I hate the angled shock mounting piece too. I really liked to know too.

Staggered shocks do work slightly better in leaf spring suspentions to reduce wheel hop. However if you have any type of add on that controls axle twist (like slapper bars or such) they don't really have an advantage. What are you planning on running for rear suspention?

DSE 3" lowered springs and mini tub shocks. I'll eventually install a set of Cal-Tracs as funds become available.

I have a 67 and set up the rear with DSE's rear crossmember, 3" drop leafs and the rest of there goodies in the non staggered configuration. I recently had a chance to anhialate my rear 315 bfg kd's. Im happy to say no wheel hop at all. I also believe that a well designed leaf spring will not wrap up as much and also carefully setting your pinion angle should help as well.
