The only thing I don't like are the wheels.. not even close to going with the rest of the car.

Do you know the owner?

No, I just stumbled across it on ebay while looking for 64 Chevelles. Here is the link if you want to see more on it; http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Resto-Mod-1966-Chevy-468-Big-Block-V8-64-65-67-68-Fast_W0QQitemZ280136713554QQihZ018QQcategoryZ6164Q QssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

That's crazy, I was up late doing the same thing and saw the same car but it looked so wild I didn't even go into the ad. Not for me. Don't know if it's another scam but over in the 65's there's an ad for a PHR Chevelle that I've drooled over for so long. Damn I wish I had a '65 PT Chevelle!

...and a '68 Camaro, and a '68 C10 and a '67 Fastback Crustang, and...ok, forget it.

Same here! 64 or 65

Are they supported decently in the aftermarket? Or is it pretty much still a custom fab type deal with these cars?

My 1st choice is a '68 Camaro, but I'm slowly being "Expensived" out of that market just in startup costs. I ain't gettin any younger and hardly any richer either, so I thought I'd keep in mind my close 2nd choice.

I saw someone selling a starter '65 with some damn good pieces on it, but I just ain't ready yet. Can't cry over spilled milk that's not yours though. Hahaha.

I think that lends to the "stripped race look" of the car ;)

Oh come on now.. with the right wheels it would look MUCH better.. Ok and the fuel door is silly..

Sad part is he has a little over a day left on ebay and he is not even close to the cost of a nice chevelle let alone his build cost. Let this be a lesson to you , if your building to sell make sure it appeal's to the masses. I think this one has to much of a stripped down race feel to it. Which is great if you want to race but not so good on resale. I have a friend who has a fantastic 67 , tube chassis pro street, dyno's out at almost a thousand hp. launches like a rocket and step's into the seven's. Show quality with over a hundred grand invested:wow: . now he is bored with it and want's a 55 gasser style build. but he can't give away the chevelle because no one care's about all the hp. they just want the pretty red chevelle. You got to know what the public want's if you intend to sell. Wish this guy luck also but I think he is going to own that for a while  later Larry www.llcustomperformance.com

That car would have been cool in silver or black with a different set of wheels......... In reality... someone coupld get that thing... make a few minor changes and either have a bitchin car or flip it and make some coin.

See, those of us with "vision" see the potential...

See how much better it looks with just a little tweaking.. still needs a better styled wheel..

Make it shiney black on top and you have a twin to my 91 rs camaro. Right down to the wheel's. lot's of roundy pounder's in my area and they love it. I would have personely prefered mabey a 17 tourqe thrust. but i wasn't going to put 2 grand worth of wheel's and tire's on a 6'500.00 car. but no mater the color combo i think that chevelle is screaming for some type of dark spoke wheel . later larry

That's just not even fair!! What are your wheel sizes?

You know, you're right Steve. After you get past the initial color, it's not so bad of a car afterall. Interesting.

18x7 with 4" backspacing in the front, and 20x9.5 with 4.5" backspacing in the rear.

i dont get it remove all that trim but dont even weld up the holes. it wouldnt look bad if they finshed it with a nascar look not those ugly rims and shotty rollcage work.
