I'm impressed by the number of northeasterners checking in lately. As such, I think it's time for us to get together. I can think of no better destination than a pilgrimage to Brock Yate's Cannonball Run Pub in Wyoming, NY. That's near Buffalo. Buffalo-ians(?) correct me if I'm wrong, but the weather up there should be just right in August. I may (may) have some pull here. We might (might) even be able to show-off/spread the pro-touring build style in Car & Driver magazine. Who knows, maybe we can even get Brock Yates to bust out the Cannonball Run Challenger.
Here's the best picture I could find. The car is presently being restored.

My guess is that we should schedule the meet for late August. That gives members some time to get their rides drivable.

If this interests you, please check in ASAP. Based on response, I will make the call in 48 hours. In the meantime, I will start checking out hotels and stuff.

YAYYYY...someone recognizing the Northeast... But then I saw Buffalo NY :( I dont know how possible that is, I would need to get a trailer to get the car up there...but lets keep going with this, I am interested and if you want help planning, I will take on some responsibility if you need help.

Thanks

Naw, no trailer. I'd be coming up thru CT since I can't get my car out thru NYC without it cracking in half. Nothing wrong with my car, it's just that the city highways really are that bad. So we can travel up together and if something breaks, we fix it. :D No man left behind. Looks like about 400 miles each way.

Good idea Scott. Nothing commercial--just an information page.

Well I am up for the trip, but thats 100 miles more than I have on it right now in total (300), and the TH350 might not like the long hours on the road, no 6 speed like you guys. But I am up for a trip, I got a couple months to get all the tweeks out of the car, one of the guys on Pro-touring is from CT too. But I want to be able to meet some of the guys, so I will try to find a way...even if I am a trailer queen for a day.

This would be cool. If this happens I will try to be there. My car won't be done so I will either fly in for the get together or fly in a little early if anybody has room for a passenger.
