Okay heres a question. I am planning to do a 68 or 69 camaro the in 2008. I want to do a LS7 crate with Katech cam but I was wanting to do a GM A6 auto transmission with a 3.00-3.30 gear. Trans would need to hold about 600+ HP. Now is there any aftermarket trans companies who have this trans adaptable to this kind of build?
I thought this would be cool but may have to go a different trans route...

I haven't even seen a standalone controller for that trans yet. Get ahold of Steve (Twist Machine). If there's something available he'd know about it, but I think so far there is no way to do it............. yet.

Nothing available yet and nothing coming anytime soon. For your power levels, I suggest a 4L80E. If you must have more than four speeds, add a gear splitter, but you don't need it. We're having great success with four speeds. Also you will positively hate a 3.0 gear as it will keep you out of your power band in overdrive.
You might be able to do an OEM LS7 with the A6 and use all the oem harnesses but modify them. These guys have done it to a C6 Z06 but I don't know any specifics other than what is posted. He would be a good place to start talking to.

You can even mod the LS7 with a nice cam and add a higher stall converter.

I'll give them a call and pick their brains. A "Corvette to Corvette" swap is facilitated by the presence of numerous sensors and controls that are non-existent on any 69 Camaro. These sensors and controls are required to run features such as PAL, PAS and DSC, etc.
