I can't help it but I have to ask. Your motor sounds killer and it sounds very loud. (I love it  ) Do you ever get any flack from your neighbors? Especially when you give it a little goose like in the vid? I have a couple around here that are grumpy old men watching my every move when I start up the Chevelle....:_paranoid

You know, it's not really that loud. The camcorder seems to pick up the edginess of it. I'd say it's very similar to when I was running Flowmaster 50 Series deltaflows on my 434... but with the higher compression of the LS7, it has a bit more pop.

As for the video, I began tearing it down in preparation for media blasting and paint, but before I started, I figured I should at least abuse the tires a bit first.

I missed 2nd gear in the 2nd part. lol What can I say, it's been a while since I shifted the car in anger. I'm a bit rusty.

You just do not look like the kind of guy that would do burnouts in the neihborhood! My neihbors hate me too!

Sounds killer!

You're right, Frank. It's not something I'd normally do... But I just couldn't help it. It was a victory lap of sorts.

Good thing you 'tested' those tire and found out that stickchen problem during testing.

Those dudes just don't appear to stick to anything when that kind power is applied .... :unibrow:

Maybe you should do another 'test' ??

Wicked Bro !

I can't do any more testing, the whole drivetrain is already out of the car, all fluids drained, etc. Next time there's a tire test, it will be when the car is finished. :)

Yea my neighbors are't to fond of the Nova either, haven't done a burn out in a while but the can hear me going down the road,

to quote the G/F" The neighbors must hate you, that thing is F'ing loud" my reply " Sounds better than barking dogs 24/7, screw em"

and it has 3" pipes and 3 chamber Flowmasters

My neighbors would have me drawn and quartered. I have 5 LEOs living on my street! Everyone pays attention when I start mine up!

Very sweet car.

Thre goes the neighborhood! Those young whippersnappers and their hot rods!

Maybe we should start our own retirement village.
