New member in Fort Lauderdale [Archive]

Hey my name is Cam and I'm in Fort Lauderdale. I'm 40 yrs old and Have been into car longer than I can remember. I'm a big fan of G-machines. I think it's great seeing musclecar setup to out handle and blow doors off the cars of today. I own a 93 Mustnag GT. It probably does not fall under the same catagory of rides I see on this site but it's all I got. I'm into autocross and open track so suspension is my thing. I have some basic suspension mods springs shocks and control arms. Future mods are tubular k-member and a 331 strocker motor (currently in the shop being built). After wrecking my first mustang a few years back. I found a rolling chasis theft recovery and began building up my first project car. It's been a long project but it keeps me out of trouble. Here is a few pics of my project in the making.

Hey, I'm originally from Ft. Lauderdale!!
My wife and I escaped 11 years ago!
Grew up around Commercial and Powerline! BEFORE I-95 went through there!
(yep, I'm old :yes:)

Love the GT!
Is there still a cruise-in down at Tower shops?
Did you ever go to Checkers off Powerline or Happy Days back in the mid 90s?
