Hi my name is Larry . I own a rod and custom shop in south central Wisconsin
called L&L Custom Performance. yesterday i had a misunderstanding with a fellow site member [ jake/ 68protouring454] and I was going to leave the site.
Well that is al resolved and jake has gone from a no good such and such to my newest bestest friend on the internet. The reason for this post is to reintroduce myself and to offer the member's what ever help or insite I can. i been a profesional car builder for over 20 years. my main focus now days is custom metal and paint as well as chassis upgrade's and fabrication. in the past we done complete turn key cars. from paint and body to interior and all mechanical restoreation as well. this is not a plug for my buisness . It is to let you know that I posses alot of info on techniques, part's and supplier's both good and bad. so I hope you will keep me in mind if you think I may have an answer for you. I don't no if i did this photo bucket thing right but hopefully there are some images of some of my muscle car prodjects other wise check out some of my work at www.llcustomperformance.com
have a great day larry

Welcome Larry.
I read your earlier post and I had to think......I might type in all caps sometimes. I didn't realize that was considered yelling or raising my voice either. I am not the most computer literate person anyway. Thanks for giving this site another chance. There are some really great people on this site with alot of helpful info.
Again welcome.
I'm glad it all worked out, Larry, and I'm glad you decided to stay.
I'd like to think that we're all adults, and while differences in ideas and opinions will always happen, we can continue on and still enjoy ourselves here. I've always had the philosophy that people here on Lateral-g.net should post in the same manner as if you were standing in someone's garage talking face to face. :)
Bashing and flame wars aren't welcome here.

Scott, not to hijack this thread but thought you'd get a kick out of this hair band post. This guy lives directly across the street from me. He was the guitarist in the band Tora Tora. Not sure if you guys remember Tora Tora...they were from Memphis. Very nice guy and clean cut now.
Kinda cool.

Anybody here remember a band named Wet Willie?(http://youtube.com/watch?v=TbmBdbjcmoQ)
The band lived in my home town and centered themselves in Atlanta when:
Atlanta Rhythm Section (http://youtube.com/watch?v=UMlSVnfvwrQ)
and
Lynyrd Skynyrd (www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZN4fBC2s00)
were huge.
Guess what the lead singer's name was? Jimmy Hall.
Not nearly as hansome and humble as I am, but he sings a little better.

Yeah, I remember WW, but then not really a fair question for someone that grew up in Macon, when ARS, WW, Marshall Tucker, and Allman Brothers were all hanging out in Macon at Capricorn. Great times. Ronnie Hammond, singer for ARS is still in Macon, framing houses the last I heard.

Me and my best friend regularly "sneaked" down to Macon to watch all the great southern bands. Still can't believe someone here knows about Capricorn. Bill, I figured it would be a southern boy, like you.

You got it. Funny thing is I never knew it until my other neighbor told me. He is kind of a reserved guy. I ask questions now and then. He told me that they were on tour with the Cult, Black Crows and some others. Amazing. Nice guy.
