I bought mine locally from a friend and I helped mount them. If you walk in a tire shop with a brand new set of tires that you want mounted, they aren't exactly willing to bend over backwards to make sure that they don't knick your wheels. I personally think it's best to buy the tires where you're going to have them mounted so they take care of you.

I bought mine from a dealer on Ebay.

I remember when the Tire Rack had them for about $150ea. To bad we all didn't buy up enough for later.

You have to be careful with E bay deals. Often times they are old tires (out of date) and most tire shops will not mount them. Ask me how I know! Keep in mind these tires have been around 10 years now

i buy all my tires from tirerack.com, prob 50+ tires, i use a few local installers who always do an excellent job, alot of shops are now used to walk in customers with their own tires and are just as nice/carefull if you bought from them.

You have a tire machnine? I have a new respect for you, LOL! Seriously, these big reverse rims / low profile tires are such a pain in the ass to mount, I would never want a tire machine. That is $100 bucks I gladly pay

Tire Rack will find an installer in your area who they have an arrangement with. The nice thing is you can even have the tires delivered to the installer if you want.

I have been very happy with this service.

around here its impossible to find a place that will/can mount tires without trashing the wheels... they simply wont even attempt it, they would rather make their money doing trailer tires. as much as mounting up tiny sidewall tires on big wheels sucks....i would rather be doing it than trusting it to some $7/hr flunky that just wants to go on break.

http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/home.do is the way to go!
Free shipping and another bonus for me in Kalifornia is no sales tax which saves me 8.75%.

For those of you who just bought new 335/30/18s, do you still have your worn out old ones? Willing to to sell them? I need some for mock up and to use as shop tires while I am deployed.

PM me with price.

I just went to tirerack.com and discounttiredirect.com and they only have drag radials availiable in a 335/30/18. Pirelli has a tire availiable but for over $500 damn.
I think I might have to get new rear rims and go to a 19inch.
