View Full Version : Lat-G man Scott Gulbranson Video interview
We shot this last year at SEMA - it's a very informal interview with Lateral-G's own Scott Gulbranson. This was shot on the last day of SEMA, so we were all pretty fried, but it gives you a chance to hear from Scott in his own words if you've never had the chance to talk to the man. Scott is a great guy, very humble, and will make time for anyone if you run into him somewhere. Even us!

yeah, I can't do the video stuff, I get in front of a camera and it's all over. :faint: Scott did a great job. And thanks to Kevin and V8TV for the interview and for hanging out on the site.

awr - you're right, Scott is great on camera. He was a little nervous, but I think he did a great job of explaining the site.
We've been shooting lots of these kinds of informal interviews, I'll post a link to the ones that I think would be interesting to Lat-G fans.
Thanks for the kind words!

Thanks Scott for building and hosting Lat-G ! It's been a great resource to me on my project and I've had the opportunity to get to know a bunch of folks who share the g-machine passion. And the wacky people here keep me in stitches !!
Hey, since I've never really met Scott in person - maybe that guy in the video wasn't really him ?? You know how they do in Hollyweird - get someone with a better ass or something to stand in for you ...... where's the short pasty pimple faced computer/car geek with raccoon eyes from the frost belt ????
But really, Thanks for all you do to help the Lat-G community !!!

Boy, that guy holding the video camera must have ADD. He literally moves back and forth all the time. I'm surprised it didn't distract the interview.
Hey Ty,
Normally, we don't show interview subjects for the full length of the piece - we usually "cover" them with other video of whatever they are talking about. When we cut back to the subject, a little camera movement is more interesting than a static shot. In this case, we decided to show you the raw, uncut interview, and you can see how much the camera moves during a take. It's much more pronounced when there's no other footage covering it.

Thanks for the clarification. It makes more sense now. The interviews are insightful. Thanks for shooting it and giving us access to it.
