Dale,
Very cool. It was nice talking to you at the Borchardt's show. You should post some pics of your buddy's dune buggy to entertain the troops here.
Do you have a picture showing the valve covers? Curious what they say.

What are the specs on your engine?
Be sure and let us know how it dyno'ed.

That looks killer. Only thing that worries me is if there is enough belt wrap on the water pump at those rpm's.

Cool,
I went with the Callies crank and rods too, very nice pieces. I assume HS did the rockers??
Very anxious to see the final numbers for this.

what is the point of ditching the GM LS-7 titanium rods in favour of a set of callies???

Their was rods and pistons failed in the wrist pin area. from what I was told.when you start pushing it over 625 hp.Mahle pistons guys also said their was problems. As for going to a Callies crank or stock crank . On a stock crank you would have to drill out the crank so much to add weights it would make it weaker for the heaver rods.

Very cool. The single plane intake obviously moves the RPM range up from the stock LS7 intake - a stock intake LS7 won't make peak power much past 6500, no matter how big the cam is. And 711 on an engine dyno is really screaming!
What EFI are you using again?
DB Z28

we are using the Panthera EFI . The stock LS-7 intake was ported a lot to make it work right, The two in spacer on top gave it almost 20hp. Wagner sells the whole package for about 18500.00 it comes with a wiring harness and Panthera EFI and front end assembly pullies, brackets, power steering, alternator its the same that DSE uses .Its really a good deal.
