Hi! its been a while since last time. Now my first engine project has been put together by me myself and I. I am not saticfied with the result but i am glad that i pulled it of! I dont have the power i hoped for and i have to lift the intake once more and seeal it agian. When i started the engine for the first time i had no functional breather system. Wich resulted in blown gaskets front and rear on the intake.

Now i can do this.

Before i could not.

Now I'w got two alternatives (i think) for geting more power.. Turbo charge with the old smogg cylinderheads.
Or order a Preformance package with Heads, intake, and camshaft.

What's your two cents?

Her's some pictures of the new dashboard. Real carbone fibre, and new gauges.

Deff heads cam and intake. I am TOTALLY diggin on the porno red interior. I've had 2 or 3 GM cars with the same color interior. What the hell were we thinking was cool in the '70's?

My money is on the turbo option, i did it this winter using a pair of schwartz manifolds, i found a guy selling a simmilar setup on ebay even cheaper btw.. and it was no biggie at all..

and the way it pulls on boost is just above anything ive ever tried with a na. engine... it idles prefect, makes no noise, gets good mileage and when you put your foot in it it just transforms into an evil pavement eater... i can only say that if you havent driven a twin turbo v8 you are missing out on a great thing in life..

and besides you gain far more Hp per dollar invested when turbocharging than adding a performer package..

feel free to PM me with any questions about the turbo build.. its in project updates under winter turbo projects btw..

Nice touch on the C/F dash and shifter surround! Very cool! That burnout shot looks like it is taking place in Anytown, USA, not Sweden. You must stick out like a sore thumb! I can't wait to see wheels on that car.

Will the turbo package be stifled by the smog heads? It seems like all that air will bottleneck in there without some serious portwork and a cam but the big chambers should have the compression down where you need it.

Thanks for your opinions guys. I might buy a preformance package and also build a turbo settup the problem i the carburettor. Do you think i can make my carburettor blower proof, or must i buy an other carb?

Wheels are coming.. But i cant aford the ones i want. So probobly i try to ghet hold of some BMW rims for it. just to make it look better.

a quadrajet is prety easy to modify for blowthru, as is a holley DP, with regards to the wheels:

the shipping door to door, delivered in copenhagen, i think it will be about the same to sweeden, is 450 bucks with tires mounted, and 280 without..
