Speedtech Performance USA                                                                             Lateral-g.net Vendor Feature

In 2005, Speedtech originated in Vancouver, Canada to fill a void in the Canadian high performance suspension market. The company's initial product line consisted of only five part numbers, '67-'69 Chevrolet Camaro upper and lower control arms, tie rod adjusting sleeves, C5 Corvette brake adapters, and offset leaf spring shackles. Utilizing internet marketing Speedtech's quality and innovation began to spread throughout the US. In 2006 Speedtech made its debut at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. This gave the company tremendous exposure but created a product demand that was beyond the manufacturing capability of the original owner.

During this time Blake Foster and Roger Maniscalco were running an award winning custom car shop and had been implementing Speedtech's parts on their builds. It was in 2007 when Blake and Roger felt there was a great opportunity to bring the proven suspension product line into their already thriving company, and a deal was struck to purchase the Speedtech product line and name.

Upon taking over the reigns, a two fold plan was put into place.

1. Provide customer service that was second to none.

2. Ramp up production for new lines of parts including '64-'72 Chevelles, '70-81 Camaros, and 94-96 Impala SS'. Also added to the line up was an all new subframe design for '67-69 Camaros and '68-74 Novas.

Following a tremendous 5 year growth, in 2012 Speedtech moved its entire operation from Vancouver, BC to beautiful St. George in southwestern Utah. During this transition, long time employee and service manager Jay Weir came on as a partner, bringing along his extensive background as a technician in both OEM and custom applications and varied road race driving and race instructor positions.

Now located in a 20,000 square foot full service facility, Speedtech now has over 200 unique manufactured parts in our product line, and we're dedicated to continually develop parts for new applications. Aside from manufacturing, we also provide a wide range of shop services, including:

  • Product installation.
  • Full custom and race car builds.
  • Hot Rod repairs and servicing.
  • Complete in-house custom paint and body work.
  • Complete in-house design and rendering services.
  • Our entire staff at Speedtech has a long background in the industry and we all have either a finished project car or one in progress. We, like our clients, know the value of a company that is pleasant to deal with, provides great parts and services and has the knowledge and experience to back it up. At Speedtech it's our goal to provide our clients with all these things. We'd like to thank all of you for your support, and here's to another great year in hot rodding!
