Default Toyo Proxes RA1 vs Nitto NT-01

Does anyone have any experience with the Nitto NT-01 compared to the Toyo RA1? My understanding is that the compounds are the same between the two (as they are/were sister companies) and that the NT01 tread pattern is very similar to the Toyo 888 tires which are supposed to be released in North America sometime (soon?).

Anyone have any insight?

Thanks

Well, the NT01 has less grooves and thereby I think it might be a better "dry" tire whereas the RA1's would be a better "wet" tire. I think on a car that's driven alot the RA1 would be the better choice. Oh, and the RA1s have a wider selection of sizes including 335's
