the vems was designed a couple of years back to cope with the shortcommings of the megasquirt, and in my view its a whole different league.. 8 peak and hold injector chanels, 8 ignition chanels, onboard map, up to 3 bas i think... dual WbO2.. onboard and so on... and it comes assembled and tested for 500 euros... like 550$ a friend of mine bought a couple about a year back... hes a teacher at an automotive tech school and the kids take right to the system, but i havent talked to him about the system since... ill ask next time i see him and relay any hands on advice he offers..
