Default American Racing VN-500 / AR-500

Is anyone around here running the 17" AR-500s? I can't find pictures of them on a car anywhere. If you have a link please share.

Thanks for any help

I looked at the AR-500 and Wheel Vintiques and ended up having Driverz, Inc. make a set of NewGen 500s for me. 18X9 and 18X10. Car is still in the assembly phase, so this is about the best pic I have of the wheels.

Yeah - I know the rear is sittin' a little high , but we're waiting to get it all together before we start messing with the springs.

Rob thanks for posting. I love the Newgen 500s, but have to also consider the ARs given the cost delta.

Here is a Firebird with AR-500: The rim sizes are 17x7 4.25BS and 17x8 5.25BS 5x4.75 and tires are Nitto 555's 235x45 and 255x45 http://www.pro-touring.com/showthrea...8-Firebird-400

Clint -

Why couldn't you have posted these pics a year ago? Would have saved me HOURS of internet searching! The more I look at the various AR500-style rims, the more satisfied I am with the look. I probably would have gone with the AR500, but I don't think at the time I was looking that I could get them in 18X9 / 18X10 with a 1.5" pad to clear the Baer 6P calipers I have installed.

I do like that classic muscle car wheel look - whether its on a GM, Ford, or Mopar!
