Suspension Guidance please.
Hello everyone, I have a bone stock 74 Chevy Nova that I bought in High School 6 years ago and daily for a couple years but now it's been sitting for the last 3-4 years because I sold the engine/trans during somewhat difficult times. But anyways now that I am currently working a steady 11hrs a day Monday-Friday, I am now saving money on the side for the next 6+ months to start buying suspension parts. My main goal is to be able to daily it, autocross, and have some fun in the canyons once in a while. Budget wise I would like to stay below 15k, maybe a little more but not to much, for everything on the bottom, chassis, brakes, rear suspension, a new rear end, and if possible be able to fit at least 18x9 275/35/18 on all 4 corners.
So my first choice of suspension was TCI (Total Cost Involved) stage 2 setup, which includes everything chassis, rear torque arm, 4 piston wilwoods front and rear, a currie 9" with tru trac posi, and more. It seems like a nice deal, but then I started to look at RideTech suspension, speedtech, art morrison, Chris Alston's Chassisworks and the many other companies out there. There is a lot of choices to choose from now.
Anyone got any kind of advice to share, to point me in the right direction.
Thank you.
