Best radiator and fans for LS '69 Camaro
I know about the BeCool set up at DSE and the setup that Frank sells at Prodigy, just wondering if there is a cheaper option with good quality to boot.
I have seen the Entropy set up on Ebay for 700.00 with a harness for another 100.00, but I'm nervous about the quality and ability to cool in extreme conditions.
Am I stuck with spending 1k, or does someone have a better option out there.
Thanks,
Matt

You can get into a C&R radiator for half of that, and have a top quality all aluminum US made product.

I'm running the rad. and fans out of a 99 Z. I think I have around 225 dollars in the whole thing. 4 yrs. now and no issues. I might some day look at the Afco brand.
Good luck John

I ran the entropy setup for 2 years with no problems. Vintage Air in 100+ degree Texas heat with never a hint of overheating. I wouldn't say it is the best available but it worked well for me.

2nd on C&R, I have also heard lately of a few people using a company called Mark7 with good success, they color anodize to order as well.

I'm getting ready to throw the 3rd radiator in my car and it's likely getting a Ron Davis. With that being said, I wouldn't spend the money unless you are going max effort.

For a Max cooling radiator I think it would be hard to beat Ron Davis in quality and cooling. I have one and the quality is simply stunning:
They do make one specifically for a LS1 conversion into a 1st Gen:
