After the last couple of day's work, I think I should call this project "Tacky".

Got the inner fenders fitted, just a bit more welding and grinding to go... lots of black booger picking too! Getting ready to paint and line the underside so we can start making this into a final roller. Gained .75" of up travel over the way it was done before. Also has the outer lip for the 1/4 to attach to.

Also trimmed the wheel tubs themselves, so they don't trap crap and cause rot.

Oh and we have new tires, will get those measured for rims once it's a roller.

Rims are ordered, too.

This thing may actually race this season!

I would like that... should be a fun race

I am slowly chipping away at this. I know people won't see it, but I will know they're there... so I finished the rear inner fender wells. Yes, I even put down some plastic.

It's tough splitting time between this and the Diamond <T>.

Is this thing on?

After a lot of grinding and black booger picking, I got the body lines where I want them. Although I really didn't want to use any filler, we had to. Granted, it's less than 1/16" thick. I have the passenger side in a guide coat and started working on the driver's side mud work.

Looks like I may make it to a race or two this year with this car.

Oh, also getting perfect gaps means modifying carbon fiber.

More priming, more sanding... glad we're working in the dirty section of the building. I got the trunk lid gapped right. Start working on the doors sometime next week.

It's getting the underside pol lined tonight and tomorrow we're making it a roller and measuring for wheels.

Today was a good day.

Sub frames went in for the final time.

Also getting my second race boat ready... some times it's nice to live near the ocean.
