Default Who's done it... 4l80E in a convertible Camaro

Hey guys,
I'm just starting teardown of my wife's 68 Camaro with a 454 HO motor and I'm doing some test fitting of a 4l80E I have planned on putting in during the restoration. Everything was looking pretty good 1 slight tunnel mod ( more trans cooler line clearance ) and I knew I was going to have to fab a crossmember which brought me to the point of noticing that with the increase length of the transmission it ends up putting the yoke more into the tunnel area and I don't think I can get my exhaust to make the turns into the tunnel area where the convertible bracing is bolted to the floor structure. I know Hotchkis makes a floor brace that drop down slightly in the front to accommodate a larger pipe but I still don't think that's gonna make it happen. Has anyone put a 4L80E in a 67-69 Camaro and kept the factory brace and does anyone make a crossmember for them yet.
All responses are appreciated.
