Default Here are the Part Numbers for the GM PWM Module Connector

All,

Over the past several weeks, I have been conversing with Scott from TTI to obtain the part numbers for the GM PWM Fan Module connector. Scott at TTI was very helpful and was able to track down most of the part numbers with very little trouble. The small PWM signal terminal was hard to find and luckily for me, Andrew B used his local GM resource to track down this terminal. We are still in the process of prototyping a few of the small terminals to find the best one of the bunch. So...I have not fully tested all of these part numbers, but will share my experience when I get everything together. Most, if not all, of these parts are available in single piece quantities through Mouser. I believe that information like this should be free to the public.

Body (Qty 1)
478-9440101
$8.58

Large Terminal (Qty 4)
478-23124472620060
$3.45

Large Terminal Seal (Qty 4)
478-10800472742091
$0.77

Small Terminal Seal (Qty 1)
478-10800444522091
$0.10

Small terminal plug (Qty 1)
478-10800472631091
$0.12

Small Terminal (Qty 1)
We are Prototyping these Options - Stay tuned:
478-22124492060050
478-22140492060050
478-22140472970050
571-925595-2
571-2-964286-1

Thanks for the Info, I was also working with the local TTI branch but couldn't get them to quote me a 1pc qty. Although they did give me the plug for free, just need the terminals and seals now.
thanks again!

Not sure if you've been able to verify the small terminal connector but I was looking through the quote and they referenced a Tyco part number 968119-2 for the the female terminal and Tyco 967610-1 for the seal. looked through the PDF drawing and they seemed to be the right dimensions, but need to assemble to find out.

I'll order parts this week and let you know if it all works out.

Tony,

For the small terminal I like the 571-2-964286-1. It is a very robust terminal with copper contacts and double retention clips. Looks like Mouser has these in stock now. I don't think 968119-2 is right. The small terminal needs to have sort of a puckered duckbill look to it. The 571-925595-2 is a less robust and less expensive version of 571-2-964286-1.

I just ordered all these and enough to make two plugs and test which I like more for the small terminal. Only one of the above part numbers was back ordered above. I'll take some shots when they arrive and let you know my thoughts as well.

Thanks Andrew, spent some time on the phone with Mouser and he cross referenced a 571-968221-7 as a replacement for 968119-2 so i placed an order yesterday but considering that you've "been there and done that" i'll order the 571-2-964286-1 also and let you know of the differences.....

thx everyone for the help, really appreciate it.

I ordered the above parts and the PWM controller from the link below:

http://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-15-808...rol+Module+Kit

When I tried to insert the empty shell into the PWM controller it didn't fully engage so the locking tabs would hold the shell into the PWM controller. Does anyone have a picture of the above parts fully engaged into the PWM controller?

I'll snap some photos when i get home.

There is a cavity in the connector that must be hollowed out so that the tab on the fan controller can mate with the connector.
