I actually tossed all of the stuff in the scrap metal bin and then bought the Ride Tech bracket.

I plan on mini tubbing it but its runnin sooo good with the leafs, i dont wanna change it. Only want to change the rims tires to get more meat, for looks and performance....

I tracked it a few weeks back with Greg and Seig and the car ran fantastic, just need more power and a little more grip, but shes very predictable.

Keith (Custom Works) did the clip, steering, Speed tech, coil-overs, and the Holley/Hooker swap and the car handles very good and is very controlable/predictable......fun to drive.

Went for a 45 min pedal today, 106* out, ugh....good thing i gotta large water like tub in the back yard....
If i had to do it all over again I would just cut out the old wheel tub completely and have a more rounded tub made and bond it to the quarter because you still have to clearance the outer wheel tub when you put a 27" tall tire on the car.

ps Rode my Farly Fat bike with the new Bluto suspension fork Saturday & Sunday and I feel like a kid again. It was a freaking blast !!!

I have last years version with a few more upgrades. Wheels are carbon Fiber and weigh only 2lbs each. Which really helps getting the beast moving and stopping.

You should come ride with us.

So this does work or is an option? I was thinking about something like this eventually simply to gain as much clearance as possible to go as low as I can. I couldn't think of a reason to not do this, even to the front, but then again, I'm no expert.

In the rear Kenny re leaved (insert hammer) some of the outer inner fender to gain clearance when we swapped to the 27" tall tire a couple weeks before Sema. I like the look of a 27 rear and 26 front much better as the the rear wheel opening is slightly larger.

As for the front when you down as low as we are the inner fender becomes the problem. However the Anvil inner fenders give more "Height" clearance and also turning clearance for a 275 or even a 295.
