The Latest News

Most of the work is on the garage, I got a bench set up in the front.

I picked up a Miller 211, and a engine hoist which I have used about 10 times and only used it on the engine 1 time. Im still debating where to put an air compresser so i havent made that purchase yet.

I got the craigslist special on a engine for 200 bucks. I had a buddy pick it up for me as I was overseas at the time. when i got home i rechecked the casting numbers to find that my 4 bolt main 350 was actually a 2 bolt 305....so that was depressing and the guy moved out of town so my loss.

I put in my order for my front suspension,(Thanks to Frank at Prodigy) so that should be waiting for me when i get back from my next trip.

A Member is helping me out and giving me a deal on a set of wheels that should also be here when i get back.

Here are some pics of my no so much progress, please excuse the mess

my Bargin of an Engine

And my attempt at a bench

So this weekend i go the welder set up which took about 5 minutes of playing around once everything was put together. the miller is unbelieveably easy to use, and the helmet works awesome. This was my first time welding with a auto darkening helmet. i wish i would have had one when i did my truck when i was 16.

I built a cart to get it to and from media which is all it is intended to do so its nothing special. i finally saw the floor of my garage again. I didnt take any pics of the cart.

I am already off training again so i wont be working on it until at least thanksgiving. but i should have a pile of parts waiting for me when i get home.

I think this should be on millers website...just a thought

there is some room in there i guess

The motor cost me all of 200 bucks and i got a bunch of extra parts (cam,2 carbs,2 edlebrock intakes), I think I'll come out ahead once I sell the block

Im planning on ordering my rear suspension around thanksgiving. AME tri 4bar set up.

I dropped the body off at the media blaster this morning and I should have it back in a couple of weeks

looks like a nice project.im in almost three years of redoing my car.im very close to being done.i just need about a 5k side job to wrap it all up.until you build one you would have no idea of the costs involved in the parts after parts.hang in there seems like your dealing with frank so iknow your in good hands.keep us posted on how things are going.i have some leftovers so try me if you need anything.
