Well since last time I reported I have been block sanding that hood, filling spots I thought were fixed, priming, and block sanding some more.

Almost there is a relative term

Sprayed a few parts today, first time with paint other than primer.

My urethane satin black came out glossy , and I had some orange peel.

More painting tomorrow, more practice, and most likely wet sanding

Pop riveted quarter was lurking underneath, it did have "some" brazing too

GT is mostly stripped now. Pulled the 351 to prep for the 427. Decided to smooth the "Holey firewall" and build a new trans tunnel while I am at it .
