Default My 68 Camaro build

New member here and haven't made any post's as of yet so here goes. I have a 68 Camaro RS I am building. I bought the car in the middle of a restoration. And thought id make it a little bit more than what direction it was going in. The car had been on a rotessery and all the rust had been removed. First I cut and buffed the new paint and then on to the suspension and detailing work. Crome ,new brakes, wheels, suspension etc...Here is what it looked like when I got it. No glass, no chrome, no wiring, all but the seats were gone. I still haven't been able to get the whole story on where all the parts walked off to. But its getting a new face lift no matter.

Got this to install later on

I cut and buffed the whole car and installed all the glass chrome window fuzzies and headliner.

I took the front clip off the car and began to take the suspension apart. It was all worn out from 40+ years of abuse.

Got everything all cleaned up and smoothed out for re-assembly.

Very nice start to a build!

What are your plans for drivetrain, suspension, brakes, etc?

Got my Vi-king coilovers and upper and lower control arms in to begin the assembly. I got the passenger side done last night. I have the driver side about 75% done.

I managed to get all the brake lines and new master cylinder installed as well.

Hope you like the pics, thanks for looking.

I am going with a carbureted 355cui 10.1 smallblock with a turbo 350. The suspension is BMR uppers and lowers with Vi-king double adjustable coilovers with 2" drop spindles. I did a stock disc brake conversion for now. Hotchkis 3" leaf drop kit on rear with Rushforth wheels.
