Default 1968 Camaro "Badmotorfinger" v2.2

Well I am glad to be back in the sea of Camaros. After being forced to sell my previous 68 earlier this year, I was able to get back into a position to get another one, albeit much more tame! But I like it that way this time.

I learned a lot from the past build about myself, shops, estimates, priorities, etc... and I think that's a great thing to have gone through now in hindsight. Have a few minor things I want to add or change to this car but otherwise will get to know it as is and go from there.

Well, enough talking.. here are the details and pics from today's maiden voyage. Bought the car in Modesto and drove it about 60 miles back to my new storage unit/shop in Dublin.

Nice pick up!! Sounds healthy. I like the black wheels against the blue. Glad to hear you're back in the game!!

I have had a couple of 377s with that exact cam. With that aluminum flywheel, that cam, Revs like crazy I am sure. Lots of fun to drive.

Looks like a little this and that and your ready to rock!

I'm diggin it. I'm with Frank, a few tweeks and it's yours. I'd start with taking off the front bumper and new wheels. If you want to bring it for SEMA, I'm sure we can stuff 4 Camaros in garages around here.

Looks good!

Funny about the "learning" curve of a pro build.... and not bashing the pros here at all.... 'cause it's usually the customer driving the cost up. But the old "if you have to ask - you can't afford it" comes to mind when building HIGH LEVEL cars. These things tend to get out of control real easy.

This looks like a good car to just go out and have a blast with... and that, to me, is the best kind of car.
