1st I've heard of Hid Lights being illegal, especially since they have come Standard on of a lot of cars for the last 10 Years.

As a recent new owner of a set of Recaros, I will say though expensive, well worth the investment. The before and after is like a whole different car. I put larger front tires on this year and the Recaros, I'll put money down that says the seats will be a bigger improvement than the extra 20mm/side of rubber.

I knew it would be better than the WS6 Trans Am seats (decent oem bolstered seats too), but I had no idea how much.

Well, Hid Lights didn't come standard on a 69 Camaro. So, he has a HID kit, which is aftermaket and that makes it illegal in most states. Only factory cars that came standard with HID are allowed.
