Default 1969 Chevelle LS3

Item Location (City/State):Yucaipa, Ca

Price:$30,000

Description: 1969 Chevelle

Pro touring LS3 Powered 1969 Chevelle, 517RWHP/ 497 Torque
Built and running project. You can finish with your own way….
This has been a long on/off again project. Body was removed and media blasted.
Frame was stripped and painted semi-gloss black. The only rust to speak of was along the seam off a torn vinyl top. Sitting in a field water pooled causing some rust holes (metal added)to top and damaging package tray area. The rear panel below window was cut out and replaced. The car still has both original quarter panels. There was prior body work on both quarters. The car is primer and was done by me so the pictures show some shadows that appear to be wavy but it was my spray gun issue.

New Body and Trim Parts:
Under carriage with raptor bed liner
Front fenders
SS Hood, with new chrome SS Grills
Header Panel
Front bumper valance
Front core support
T3 headlights
Grill, and chrome pieces
Headlight eye brows
Chrome bumper
Front turn signals
Metal wheel wells *Not installed
Rear Chrome bumper
Rear Chrome tail panel upper and lower pieces
Tail light lenses
Chrome taillight bezels
Trunk lock, door locks,
Windshield
Windshield Trim (3 piece)
Rear window trim
Rear window
Chrome side marker bezels
New door handles
New trunk
*What is needed on body….panel alignment and block sanding

New Interior items
Floor board tunnel is custom and raised for max space
Front and rear door panels, Black in color
Corbeau Seats (Purchased used but in good shape).
Crow 5 point harnesses with cam lock style
Roll cage constructed of .120 wall, 1-3/4” DOM built by a shop. Cage was built for max room.
The cage extends up into the bracing which was trimmed so the bar could extend high up in the roof line. I have had this car at higher than freeway speeds and there is no distortion or flex. It remains sturdy. See picture to help give you a better idea. The catch ties into the frame, extends through to the trunk and also up to the engine compartment.
OE style pads with Drive by wire pedal.
Ducth Boy's shifter
Dash pad, trimmed to fit down bars of cage
Autometer 3-3/8” Tach and speedo with 2-1/16” Fuel, oil, volt and water gauges These are mounted in a Covan Classic dash
Lokar park brake lever with Ironworks mounting pad
Car has B-Quiet style sound insulation, Ididit tilt column
*What is needed on inside: Roll cage will require better prep for paint
will need headliner. Note the cage is very tight to roof so a reproduction head liner is not going to work. I was building this car to drive and was not worried about a show piece. I am sure a good interior shop could come up with something. Car has no heater or a/c, still needs windshield wiper motor. I have old one (would need rebuild) and the old wiper arms also.

This is a two seater car only. So there is no rear seat period.

Drivetrain
LS3 Crate Long block, has L76 intake.
Speartech E67 ECM with harness, LS2 MAF,GM 02 sensors, Has Corvette accessories, Alternator was a rebuilt unit, Edelbrock 409 SS Headers

I am sure I have missed some details. I have a full catalog or receipts. Anybody who has gone this far into a car knows what it cost. If you do the math not counting the hours I have you will see the value.
****Car has approx. 6,000 Miles. My china made Autometer shows lower but both Tach and speedo are not working correct
