Kind of weird to see something I built in my little home garage on the cover of a magazine.

Get out there and get a copy =)

I love the truck and seeing you get well deserved credit for it. Congrats!

Default LS swap in a f100 cost

I am a Chevy guy but c10's are outrageous when it comes to pricing. How much did this swap run you and would it be worth the savings to buy an f100. I am trying to do a budget build with an LS swap I am trying to stay in the 10,000 price range for a f100 short bed and a 5.3 swap and some minor things no turbo. What do you think I could expect to spend on this swap with motor and the extras to get it running. Also would you be avalible to pick your brain if I go this route.

First off, congratulations! Awesome build - been following along and enjoying every step.

Skimmed back through the thread looking for it but couldn't find it. What tank did you end up putting between the rear frame rails? I have an F100 myself that I would like to borrow some ideas from your build for.

Thanks!

Most likely used a 70 Mustang fuel tank. Fits nicely between the rails, slap a stealth fuel pump in it and be done.
