Thanks for checking, besides being cold as the dickens here I have been consumed with my last two class towards my MBA. The semester ended right before Xmas and then my boys came out for two weeks and when they flew home classes started again.
So priorities are obvious, the car is still sitting right here and can wait, gotta get my edumacation!

Good for you, totally understand, family and school,
for me, working out of state takes a lot from car and family time, but maybe one day I'll get home, but like you said car can sit its not going anywhere,

Steve ... thanks for checking in, wow.... it's been awhile!
I'm still here, well in Hollister CA now! Been awhile since I got to work on the car, now that I'm in CA I can work on it through the winter .... yeah!
HOLLY RUST already! Got the garage sorta organized and looked over the car and saw surface rust already, I've only been here a week ... wasn't expecting that! Time to break out the fiber wheels and get that off there. Sure glad I epoxied the roll bar and the interior before I left
Here is some car porn ...
I did find a fab shop that does LS swaps less than a 1/4 mile from work, Pacific Fab in Gilroy .... this could be bad!!!! lol
Thanks for looking .... gotta get to work on that rust!

Jay is totally worth it. They know their stuff. I used to be in a 4WD club with them in the early 2000's. They blossomed nicely in their business over 10 years.
If I didn't do it myself, they would be doing it.

Great to hear from you again Chief.
Those headers look like they'd enjoy an abrasive media blast and ceramic coat at the Spa! Too many books and crannies to disc them well.
Looking forward to more updates, yours is one of the few builds I follow on here. You are in company with anything of Stielow's and Daves BMF if that makes you feel good, I hope it might.

Yeah, the headers will need a day at the spa ... I will send them out for ceramic coating here real soon, even saved the AME box just for that purpose! Seems the rust was accelerated from road salt, even thou the car was covered the underside still sustained salt spray from the road ... grrrrr!
I will have updates here real soon ... Thanks for looking.

Update 4/16
Cutting up some more of the AMD quarter panel ... trying to get the door gaps better than a 1/2 inch!!! Figured it was easier to metal work the angles of the door jamb that were rounded with the quarter off, and no tension on the panel ... yeah I'm backwards thinking too! Got it to 3/16" metal working the jamb area and I haven't used any gap spray yet
Now I'll put the quarter back on and see how much of gap I'll have to fill in with metal, I'm guessing 3/16" in most places .... been a good day in the garage!
Thanks for looking ....
