That's just funny as hell right there....

Matt --- I think I'd exhaust just aft of the rear wheel well opening if possible... and leave that diffuser stand on it's own. It's just great looking. Maybe get it hydrodipped in Carbon Fiber.... ??

Holy Cow----dude, you have become an amazing fabricator!

So impressive, everything that you have done. Especially love that diffuser you've put on the car.

Your training is now complete---indeed you are powerful as the emperor has foreseen. (I just got done watching Star Wars with my son who hasn't seen it till now) Jedi.

I was thinking of that (the exhaust part ) I don't have a ton of space to get over the torque arm, and even less to get around the watts link brace points pickup points on the frame rails. I also really like the vintage race car look of exhaust exiting just before the wheels , but that could be loud. I might put cats and resonators in, if possible, to help with the noise.

Damn, that took a while just to think about. I think building something custom takes 10x as long, in time and/or $$$ as and aftermarket part that kinda, sorta fits.

Thanks Doug! Preparing the children for the new film, you are? (That's my best Yoda type).

Could you run Spintech mufflers under the car so you can do side exit? They make 3 inch thick mufflers.

Another cool update on the Mustang Matt!

Agree with the others to make the spoiler more pronounced. I don't like the Shelby lip that I see others putting on the 65-66 Mustangs so as long as you avoid it looking like that

Time for an update. The car currently looks less complete, but we're spraying the spot prime/final prime tomorrow! I also have a rendering, so I all I need is an official project name and I will have a real deal pro touring car in the works.

Gaps in the middle of being worked on. Had to add an inch to the bottom of the fiberglass bumper, and had to cut down an 1/8" off the side of the trunk to get the gaps we wanted. Jon took care of everything else.

Here he is getting to be grumpy (which, I think, makes him happy) about the car not being ready for paint.

Here are some from about a month ago, right before Jon came back to paint the car.

And, one of the Camaro because Camaros are cool.

#1 As soon as this thing is painted, or close to it, Jon is heading back to Hawaii. I'm afraid he said he has caught a nasty bout of 'Ovalitus' working on the Ferd, and he needs to go back home and recuperate on the beach.

#2 I hope working on it doesn't kill him.

#3 it's only going to be done "soon" because I need something else to look at and cut up, or because I have so many more ideas that I need to build a V2.0.

Matt's delicate eardrums could not handle the thunder of the Spintech.

What?
