All the hard work and extra time it took to develop this suspension is paying off. We anticipate some great performance as we get to more events.

Some of the crew took the C10 to the Goodguys event in Loveland CO last weekend. First time on an official autocross it took 1st place overall in the truck category and was hanging with most of the faster cars. This is with street tires and no major tuning on the right off the shelf parts. On Sunday it smoked many of the late model cars who were running on sticky tires. Goodguys put on a great event, we had a good time, and the trophy is REALLY cool.

The shakedown runs were helpful, we want to experiment with sway bar rates a little more for upcoming events. We may even slap on a set of road race slicks left over from an old project and see what it's real potential is at an upcoming SCCA event.

Overall things are looking fantastic for our truck and the future of the C10 ExtReme suspension!

We're really excited about where things are going. Speedtech will have a booth at SEMA, # 72004, however the truck will be outside rather than inside with the booth. We will have a C10 frame on display at the booth, along with an ExtReme Camaro Subframe.

Congrats on winning the Goodguys Truck Class Autocross event in Colorado ... on the truck's first time autocrossing. Sweet !

What's more impressive ... is that this is not a stripped down race car. This bad boy has a full custom interior, air conditioning, big stereo & is "Truck Heavy". My only question is ... did jay have a Slushy in the cup holder on the Autocross course?

Thanks Ron! You're right it's not a "race" vehicle at all, it's comfortable, has all the amenities, leather wrapped interior, nice stereo, a shallower than stock but fully functional bed and doesn't have steel tubes everywhere to brace a light weight frame. It's the real deal!

Here is a list of the updates that the truck is getting before SEMA.

Hawk BP30 Brake pads, more aggressive for autoX but wont eat rotors.
Ridetech single adjustables with Speedtech/Rons Secret Sauce custom Specs
Forgeline GA3 Black center red lips 18"
BFG Rival S 315 front and 335 rear.
Drive Junkies Race front drive system.
Solid splined front sway bar. 1250 lb rate.

should up the performance level a couple notches.

On this build we wanted it to be a super comfortable drive to events so we decided to forgo the man pedal and went with a 4L65 auto. Crossmember getting into position and final assembly.

[/QUOTE]

Is that 4L65e stock?

Not stock, Hughes built it for us, all kinds of billet stuff and other upgrades to make it handle some serious abuse on the autoX and road course.
