If these are the Specialist "S" models, which are supposed to have the higher bolsters, does anyone have pictures of the "M" model for comparison? It doesn't look like there is much bolstering on the ones in these pictures.

thanks.

These seats are awesome, and the service from Dale was top notch.

I sat in the "M" model, and it definitely had less side bolster. Look up TOW under the project update section. Bryan (carbuff) has the 'M' model in his 2nd gen firebird.

Just posting a reminder that we're a Recaro dealer, (you can verify this on Recaro's website) and have been supplying many forum members from this site and PT with Recaro seats & sliders!

Let us know if you need a pair!

Hey all,

Recaro increased their price on several of the more popular seats for 2016, from $30-$100 per seat. I updated the pricing on this page.

Additionally, their shipping structure has changed so I may or may not be able to offer free shipping depending on your location.

If we or Recaro do not have seats in stock, USA-made seats are 4-6 weeks lead time typically. Germany-made seats are 12-16 weeks. So try planning your purchase earlier on in the build if you really like/want Recaro seats! Yes I said PLAN.... most of us are men... who does that???

We're honored to be able to offer Recaro seats to you all, and we greatly appreciate your business!

-Dale

Are there seat foams available for the Specialist S? Wanting to build a pair of custom matching rears for a 2nd gen F body. And is the matching leather material available as well?
Thanks!

Hi Terry

Seat foam is not available from Recaro. Upholstery shops can make & stitch matching foam & covers for the rear seats. We have that done often.

Material WAS available until early 2018, now you'll have to have an upholstery shop match it. (Updated this 3-22-18)

Thanks
-Dale

Hey Dale. Is the pricing shown earlier in this thread still accurate?
And what is the cost per yard for additional black leather?
Would need enough for a complete 2nd gen rear seat and a shifter boot.

PM if you like. Thanks!

Having Recaro's in my CTSV and also in past vehicles, I can vouch for the quality and design of them. In my V it took me a while to find the sweet spot with them, but once you get them set right, they are sweet.
