Default Mini tub kit 69 Camaro

Anyone install this mini tub kit on a 69 Camaro ? How different is this kit than the DSE kit ?? I mean is it narrower ?? Are frame mods still required ??

Reading the posting in Ebay is it 6 inch a side? If so that is alot you have to build a new frame rail. I believe DSE is 3 inch per side. I have DSE found them on CL and ordered the all the patch template direct from DSE for like 5.00. I would just get he DSE tubs you cant beat the quailty and customer service. Look on your local CL I found mine for 250.00 with subframe connectors and shipped.

Golden Star minitubs are narrower than DSE as far as I know and you do not have to cut the frame rails. Same minitub as Goodmark.

Thanks guys for the replies. I was just interested in a mini tub, not the DSE kit, which I think is wider. Yes I agree DSE is top notch. No problem there. I have a convertible and I'm pretty sure the DSE kit will cause problems with my convertible top coming down.

Any minitub will interfere with the top. Even the factory tubs have the flanges laid over. You just have to modify the tub to clear the top.
