I have enjoyed reading your thread. The car looks to be a great package.
Are the seats you have the corvette ones you bought or another set? Thanks.

Still buying parts for the old hunk of junk for when I finally shut it down for paint. 1650 miles strong still working couple little things but we our getting closer every week. Lost my job which slowed things down little bit but am back to working a new job so hope to have it painted next summer when it is to hot to drive it in this weather in Texas.

Default Paint

After two years of waiting the car finally got dropped off at the paint shop. Car will have new quarter panels, roof skin, door skins, header panel, fenders, trunk, and flat hood now. Going paint it torch red with no stripes. I think with the flat hood no stripes on this car looks simple and clean may regret it later but went with my gut.

Post Looking good...

The car is looking good, hopefully you have most of the mechanical gremlins sorted out. It will be interesting to see what issues will come up post paint.
Did they give you any estimate on body and paint work?
