I was looking at your pictures and was wondering, are you running the bttery in the trunk? It looks like it... But i see the long black (ground ?) wire and wasnt sure why its going back to the front (if its what it does?) ??.

Keep posting pics, i love the color too! I usually am not too much of an "out of the box" kind of guy when it comes to paint schemes but i really dig yours!!

You should give us some details on what you use and the steps to get a finish like that!! I have everything to do the job (tools) but have always been afraid to try it out! .... I find it little scary, even if i do every other part of the builds myself lol!!! That one always has be braking!

Cheers!!

Lead.
It has a trunk mount battery kit with remote solenoid back there as well. Most of my steps are similar to some of the other guys here on the site. I use the 3M trizact system of pads. They can be used with a water DA sander or just with a hook-it pad for the sanding discs. I generally start out wet sanding with 2000 and work my way up to 5000 being the finish up stage. The reason for the 5000 is to make the paint come back out from sanding and cuts a lot out of the time of running my buffer. Plus it gives me a chance to really fine tune it where I'm wanting to stay clear of cutting/buffing it too much and screw it up...
I use foam mequiars pads on all of my cars as well.
As far as tires go I'm thinking of going with 225/40's on the front and 275/35's on the back. My wheels are staggered 18's and 19's. Those tire sizes I may or may not go with. Especially on the front.
Thanks for the compliments everyone.
