Default Project Chaos: 1973 TA and 1969 Camaro

I'm relatively new to the site and love it. Great info and ideas with plenty of support when needed. Our projects are a 69 Camaro and 1973 Trans Am. The 69 Camaro has an LSX454 going in w/TKO600. We chose Ridetech's suspension pieces and Rushforth Livewire wheels. A lot has gone into the car the last few years and we are a couple months away from getting it back on the road. The pic is at the GoodGuys Lonestar Spring Nationals at Texas Motor Speedway. Name: image.jpg

Our 1973 Trans Am is a new project and brand new to us. It is an original white on white car w/55k miles that received the total pro touring treatment by the team at Carbon Kustoms. The car is currently at West Bend Dyno in Wisconsin getting the finishing touches before we take delivery. We are looking forward to getting this car out on the track and to a number of events in 2014. I need to get some pics loaded up.

Glad to be a part of Lateral-g!

Pulled the 383 and removed the subframe. Found a crack in the shock mount weld. Decided to remove the subframe, fix the weld, clean it up and send it out for powder coating. Smoothing the firewall begins this week.

The LSX454 fresh out of the crate. Using LS7 intake, coils, ECM and throttle assembly. Installing a Street & Performance front drive assembly. Dynatech headers. Waiting on the intake assembly. The one I ordered from GMPP was mis boxed and did not have the fuels rails and throttle body. They are replacing it but costing me a week on engine assembly. Good news is there is plenty to do so not too worried about it.

Brian at Carr's Corvettes and Customs inverted the DSE wiper motor and mounted it under the front fender, totally hidden off the firewall.

The latest addition to our garage. We have quite a list of changes, mostly cosmetic, a few safety items and small mechanical stuff but this car is simply bad a$$! Thanks Albert! We are honored to be the new owners of you Project Warhorse.

That blue car was a "wrap"? How cool.

I love wraps because you can change the look of the car DRAMATICALLY for modest money, compared to a paint job. Plus they are easy to make repairs from "off road excursions" on track days.
