Alan's awesome '70 Chevelle was built by Speedtech Performance. It's powered by a 430 hp GM crate LS3 mated to a GM crate 4L80e transmission and rides on a complete Speedtech suspension, Speedtech frame brace kit, Wilwood disc brakes, and 315/30ZR18 BFGoodrich Rival S tires on 18x10.5 & 18x11 Forgeline RB3C wheels finished with Satin Bronze centers and Gloss Black outers. Speed Tech Performance is the best shop i have ever worked with. They built the frame/suspension/ls3 upgrade/soon to be 500+ to RW. I built the rest of it paint included in my own garage. You can see before and after pics on there web site.

Thanks for the plug Forgeline!! Always a pleasure working with you guys on a build.

We have round 1 photos up here- 70 Chevelle phase 1.

After doing a frame brace kit, ATS spindles and front suspension as phase 1, we later replaced the after market parts he had on the rear with our Articulink trailing arms. Alan said the difference in handling was noticeable with simply changing them out, the Articulink design really makes for a smoother articulating and less bind suspension. The result is the car is more predictable and easier to control. Also added was a splined front sway bar and our Chicane front and our rear coilover conversions replaced the stock mount style shocks with Ron Sutton valving Ridetech single adjustable coilovers on all corners.

Sorry I don't have pics of phase 2 parts, but with the exception of the sway bar all of it can be found in our Chevelle parts section on our web page, Click Here. We can also help with the Ron Sutton shock valving too.

The nice thing about this car is that it's essentially all off the shelf parts and kicks tail at the track. What's even more cool is if you ever meet Alan at an event, he's super mellow and an awesome guy to visit with, but if you ride with him he absolutely drives this thing like he stole it! I've ridden along with him and had a blast!
