To be honest, I don't know exactly what color it is. I call it Autokraft Red. The car was restored in '90 and, according to the paperwork I got with the car when I bought it in '01, it only stated that it was GM Red Lacquer. I really liked the color, so I had Kurt scan it and spray it the same color, but in a PPG two stage. The white is off a Vette.

The HRE's looked better to me. These just don't have that ultra high end car jewelery look that an HRE wheel commands. The finish looks good though and I hope that maybe you will one day re-finish your 547's to match these.

Tyler
I'm keeping the HRE's, I have a few ideas.

I'm with Tyler, it looks good, I just liked the step lip and HRE's a little better.

I can't believe you beat me to them. I have been looking at the same wheel with Zach. They look great Scott.

I think it looks great I always liked those wheels.

Your red might have been GM torch red.

Default Wheels

SWEET!

Now how about selling me those HRE's... I can't afford them but I'd be willing to mow your yard and wash your car for like a year for them.
