Thanks, I have a cousin that used to road race factory cars for BMW. Right now he is a HPDE instructor. He put a proud picture of himself and his beautiful new TT Porsche 964 up on facebook. I asked him why would anyone try to turn a car going fast
He seemed upset with me. I must admit there may be a 4L80 and 3.08 rear gear with an appropriate converter in the car's future for a mile and/or half mile pass, just to try to get in the 200 mph club. I say drag queen only but I do drive around on the streets quite a bit and am not shy about not letting someone cut me off at the on ramp to the freeway,
My only real concern is whether the solid aluminum bushings will make the car unstreetable/unforgiving on rough roads. For now, if you pull up by a QSM 04 GTO in Texas, you still prolly need to wonder if it is Ethyl
We are working on a stock 04 hood. I have to confess 315s all around and an open track day at the Texas Motor Speedway would be a hoot.
