I'm buying a 1/12 scale model (69 Camaro) just to play with paint schemes for my build. Figure it would be cheaper and easier to do that, than to paint the car and not like the outcome. Of course i'm possibly going two tone.

Going to track the car? If so put a wrap on it for now. Paint it after it has retired from track days. Quality paint work isnt cheap. Hate to see it chipped up after a few good track days.
Funny.....when I opened the post, I only saw the car and not them colors. I immediately thought purple. I like the colors your painter mixed up. Ever consider a satin/matte purple?
First, that's a bad ass car. I heard a great way to think about picking a color you know you'll like. Picture the car in whatever color you're thinking, sitting in you living room, and decide if you'd get sick of seeing it

I built these models to play with paint, and figure out what I like. I will go with the 2 tone black and green, but I may do the silver stripe in a color changing paint, instead of straight silver.
